Get more screen time from each charge
Screen resolution and refresh rate, step by step on Samsung, Pixel and Xiaomi phones.
Why it helps
The sharpest resolution and the fastest refresh rate use extra power. Lowering one or both is hard to notice and buys extra hours.
What you'll notice
Text still looks crisp, scrolling is a little less silky, and the battery lasts longer.

Labels can differ. Menu names and their order vary between models and can change with a system update. If a step doesn't match your phone, search Settings for the feature name or one of its other names: Motion smoothness, Smooth display, Refresh rate, FHD+, Hz.
