Turn paper into a clean PDF with your camera
Document scanner, step by step on Samsung, Pixel and Xiaomi phones.
Why it helps
Point your phone at a receipt or form and get a flat, cropped copy you can save or send, no scanner needed.
What you'll notice
A crooked photo of a page comes out straight, cropped and readable.
When to use it
When you need to keep or send a paper document, then scan it with your phone instead of taking a normal photo.

Labels can differ. Menu names and their order vary between models and can change with a system update. If a step doesn't match your phone, search Settings for the feature name or one of its other names: scan document, pdf scanner, scan receipt, doc scan.
