Clear Calling cuts the background noise on the other person's end, so wind and traffic fade and their voice stands out.

How to set it up

Google Pixel

  1. Settings
  2. Sound & vibration
  3. Clear Calling
  1. Tap "Clear Calling" and turn it on.

Newer Pixel models.

How to undo it

Turn "Clear Calling" off in the same screen.

Labels can differ. Menu names and their order vary between models and can change with a system update. If a step doesn't match your phone, search Settings for the feature name or one of its other names: Voice focus, Call noise reduction.
