Two people, two pairs of headphones, one video

Audio sharing (Auracast), step by step on Samsung and Pixel phones.

About 3 minutesSound and callsGuided in Phonewell Plus

Why it helps

Your phone can stream the same sound to two sets of headphones at once, so you can share a film on a train or plane.

What you'll notice

Both pairs of headphones play the same audio at the same time.

When to use it

When you and someone else want to watch the same video, then turn on audio sharing and connect both pairs of headphones.

How to set it up

Pick your phone.

Samsung Galaxy

  1. Settings
  2. Connected devices
  3. Audio broadcast
  1. Tap "Connected devices", then "Audio broadcast".
  2. Start a broadcast.
  3. Connect each pair of headphones to it, or let the other person scan the QR code.

Needs One UI 8 or later.

Needs headphones that support Auracast.

Labels can differ. Menu names and their order vary between models and can change with a system update. If a step doesn't match your phone, search Settings for the feature name or one of its other names: Auracast, Audio broadcast, Share audio, Dual audio.
