The front camera checks whether you are looking at the screen, so it stays on while you read and still turns off when you look away.

How to set it up
Pick your phone.

- Tap "Screen timeout".
- Turn on "Keep screen on while viewing".

How to undo it
Turn the switch off in the same screen.
Labels can differ. Menu names and their order vary between models and can change with a system update. If a step doesn't match your phone, search Settings for the feature name or one of its other names: Keep screen on while viewing, Smart stay.
