Get the latest fixes and features for your phone
Software update, step by step on Samsung, Pixel and Xiaomi phones.
Why it helps
Updates close security holes and often add the features in this app. Checking takes a few seconds.
What you'll notice
Your phone tells you it is up to date, or offers an update to install.
How to set it up

How to undo it
Updates cannot be removed, but automatic downloads can be switched off in the same screen.
Labels can differ. Menu names and their order vary between models and can change with a system update. If a step doesn't match your phone, search Settings for the feature name or one of its other names: system update, android update, one ui update, hyperos update, security patch.
