Why it helps

Record a lecture or meeting and get the full text, plus a short summary, without typing a word.

What you'll notice

A recording becomes searchable text with the key points summed up at the top.

When to use it

When a meeting or lecture starts, then start a recording and read the summary afterwards.

How to set it up

Pick your phone.

  1. Voice Recorder
  2. Recording
  3. Transcribe

How to undo it

Nothing to switch off: delete recordings you no longer need.

Labels can differ. Menu names and their order vary between models and can change with a system update. If a step doesn't match your phone, search Settings for the feature name or one of its other names: transcribe, voice recorder, meeting notes, transcript assist, note assist.
