Why it helps

Google’s free Family Link lets you approve apps, set daily screen time and see where your child’s phone is, from your own phone.

What you'll notice

You get a request when your child wants a new app, and their phone locks at the bedtime you set.

How to set it up

Pick your phone.

How to undo it

In Family Link, open your child’s settings and stop supervision.

Labels can differ. Menu names and their order vary between models and can change with a system update. If a step doesn't match your phone, search Settings for the feature name or one of its other names: parental controls, kids phone, screen time for kids, supervision.
