Use two apps at once
Split screen, step by step on Samsung, Pixel and Xiaomi phones.
Why it helps
Keep a map open while you message, or a recipe next to a video. Both apps stay live side by side.
What you'll notice
Two apps share the screen, and you drag the line between them to give one more room.
When to use it
When you keep switching between two apps, then open Recents and put them side by side.
How to set it up
Pick your phone.

- Open Recents (swipe up and hold, or tap the Recents button)

Labels can differ. Menu names and their order vary between models and can change with a system update. If a step doesn't match your phone, search Settings for the feature name or one of its other names: multi window, two apps, side by side, split view.
