Stop ads in almost every app
Private DNS ad blocking, step by step on Samsung, Pixel and Xiaomi phones.
Why it helps
One setting points your phone at AdGuard's free filtering service, which blocks most ads and trackers in apps and browsers. There is nothing to install and no account.
What you'll notice
Most banner and pop-up ads in apps and websites disappear. YouTube ads still show, because they come from the same servers as the videos.
How to set it up

Set Private DNS back to "Automatic" (do this too if a hotel or café Wi-Fi sign-in page won't load).
Labels can differ. Menu names and their order vary between models and can change with a system update. If a step doesn't match your phone, search Settings for the feature name or one of its other names: Ad blocker, AdGuard DNS, Block ads, DNS.
